About

A qualified pelvic health physiotherapist and holistic practitioner, passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, motherhood and beyond with compassionate, evidence-based and whole-person care

Hi, I'm Rachel

Why I became a Physiotherapist

Competitive dance, gymnastics and cheerleading taught me early what my body was capable of with the right training. I felt most confident in myself when I was moving — strong, empowered, capable. That feeling never left me.

I knew I wanted a career rooted in health, movement and caring for others — something that would challenge me academically and let me keep learning for the rest of my life. Physiotherapy brought all of that together.

What still drives me is watching that same shift happen in someone else: less pain, more confidence, a return to the things they love. I want every client to leave feeling supported, educated, and empowered with a clear plan forward.

Why Women's Health matters to me

Intuition has guided a lot of my life, and from the early days of studying physiotherapy, I was drawn to women’s health — even when there was no clear path into it yet. I felt genuinely privileged when I finally landed my first women’s health role in the NHS, where I trained harder, studied deeper, and met a wide community of women navigating pelvic health problems of their own. I’ve also taught physio-led Pilates for 11 years, working with women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and pre- and post-menopause.

Having my first baby changed everything again. My delivery took an unexpected direction — a long labour that ended up instrumental — and it left me with birth trauma and a long road of physical healing. I had to learn to access services and advocate for myself within a system that isn’t always built to listen. That experience gave me a real, lived empathy for the women I now treat — I understand, from the inside, what it takes to be heard.

Why I created Rhosara

My personal life path led me into the world of holistic therapies — and I saw how much value there was in a space that so much of modern healthcare overlooks. One of my missions is to bridge the gap between science and the soul, to show that both can co-exist in the same room for an individual.

I’m passionate about what happens beyond the treatment room too — taking what we uncover in a session and applying it to movement, exercise, function and real life. Because true progress isn’t just about what happens on the treatment table; it’s about how a woman moves, feels and lives once she walks back out into her world.

Sometimes what women need isn’t more information — it’s permission to pause, breathe, and feel held. In a world that asks women to constantly do more, healing starts with space: to slow down, reconnect, and nurture without guilt.

Rhosara brings together my clinical training as a pelvic health physiotherapist and my work as a holistic practitioner — rooted in science, held in care. My hope is that every woman leaves feeling more empowered to lead her own health, with the confidence and understanding to keep moving forward long after she’s left the room.

It’s a place to pause, heal, grow and belong.

Why Rhosara?

Rhosara represents healing, self-love, and transformation — a gentle light guiding women back to themselves.

The name Rhosara was created from two crystals that hold deep meaning for me: Rhodonite, known for supporting emotional healing and recovery from trauma, and Rose Quartz, the stone of self-love, compassion, and nurturing.

Together, they reflect the heart of what I wanted this space to offer — a place where women feel supported, empowered, and cared for through every stage of life.

To me, Rhosara represents healing, self-connection, and transformation. It embodies the belief that when women are given the right support, they can reconnect with their strength, trust their bodies, and move forward with confidence.

This philosophy sits at the centre of everything I do: blending evidence-based care with a nurturing, whole-person approach to wellbeing.

Values

Empowerment

"You'll leave knowing your own body better."

At Rhosara, I don't just want you to experience the treatment or class - I want you to leave with the tools, understanding and confidence to trust yourself again.

Education

"No jargon. Just answers that make sense."

Every treatment is grounded in evidence-based care, explained in a way that leaves you feeling informed, not confused. I am passionate about education - as a student, and now as a teacher - it is an honour to be that for each of my clients.

Connection

"You're never doing this alone."

Whether it's the relationship with yourself, your therapy space or the wider Rhosara community - support is always there. It's where science meets the soul.
